As the founder of Charter School Substitute Teacher Network, she specializes in providing top-notch educational staffing solutions while advocating for children and families. With a diverse background spanning various industries, Dorothy's journey in construction began with a vision of creating dream homes and vibrant communities. Alongside her family, she purchased 12 acres of land in the City of South Fulton, where they aspire to build their forever homes alongside 10 additional estate homes, as well as 4 single-family homes on an additional 1.2 acres.
With over two decades of experience as an Executive Administrator at Federal Express and a commitment to community service as a Parent Liaison, Dorothy has a proven track record of dedication to both family and community. Recognizing the need for quality education, she leveraged her expertise to assist in opening charter schools and established the Charter School Substitute Teacher Network, addressing critical shortages in the education sector.

Chakira Johnson

CITY ENGINEER, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT & REGULATORY AFFAIRS FOR COSF
Chakira Johnson is a registered professional engineer, licensed in three states, with over 20 years of experience in civil engineering, specializing in residential, commercial, municipal, and military projects. She graduated from Georgia Tech in 2001 with a BS in Civil Engineering and holds a Master’s in International Relations from Troy University (2012). A resident of Stone Mountain, Georgia since 1996, Ms. Johnson served on the City Council for 16 years. Currently, she is the City Engineer at the Community Development and Regulatory Affairs Department for the City of South Fulton, overseeing land development permitting, erosion and sedimentation control programs, and land development inspection. In 2022, Ms. Johnson was recognized as one of the 50 Notable Women in Engineering by Engineering Georgia Magazine.
